Abstract
This study aimed to find the effect of the program promoting peer relationship which was applied 6 infants who received the service supporting social and emotional developments in B city and 2 siblings of them having social and emotional problems. The program applied in this study was integrated-approach. The base was the transactional analysis such as communication transactional style based on ego state, life script of I``m OK, You``re OK, stroke technique. The integrated techniques were physical activity and art psychotherapy. The program was consisted of twelve sessions. Children``s HTP, family drawing, and K-CBCL rated by their mothers were compared between before and after the program. The results were as follows. First, this study showed children understood their ego-state, perceived the technique activating their adult-self. Then realized and accepted the importance of rules, expressed their emotions and thoughts clearly, and promoted the negotiating attitude. Second, children``s social interactions improved, and the scores of depression`` anxiety, aggression and emotional instability were mostly reduced. These results supported the integrated program would improve children``s social and emotional competence and were discussed in aspect of the fact that children``s social and emotional competence could be improved through the cognitive change.
